Medallions[]

Medallions can be used to hire recruits.

You can find them after a battle, or you can forge them by using the Medallion Materials (symbolized by a blank Medallion).

Medallions with Rarity 1-3 are accessible from the beginning, to get higher level Medallions, you need to unlock them by completing a condition.

Depending on the unit's Growth, you can't give them higher tier of Medallions.

Note 1.1 :

The Berserk Medallion (5.5 - 狂) can only be used for recruiting units.

To unlock it, you need to :

Complete all three endings at least once (Normal Ending, Chaos Ending, Law Ending)
Clear the Battle Royale Mode at least once
Clear the Story Mode or Battle Royale Mode with Berserk Mode that can be accessed through 固定ボーナス which allows you to choose various options that will affect particular characters before showing you different Berserk Levels based on the difficulty of the game. The difficulty setting must be either Hard, Very Hard or Nidhogg otherwise it will not show up.

Adding medallions during unit creation[]

When hiring an unit, you can give it up to two Medallions.

After putting a Medallion into one of the free slots, you can choose a title based on the Medallion.

The title may give it extra Stats (Attack/Defense/Speed/Morale), Skills, change their Element, reduce/increase the cost of the unit, and/or provide Slayer bonus against additional races (+100% damage).

You can also select a title without using Medallions.
